When two Hilo mamas come together, magic happens! Bujo Bae teamed up with Moon Mama, Kumu, and Native Hawaiian plant lover and created your next favorite wall calendar!
We are super excited to announce the theme for this year’s Makahiki Calendar: Hawaiian Agroforestry!
For this year’s calendar, Bujo Bae teamed up with ʻO Makuʻu Ke Kahua, formerly connected with the Makuʻu Farmers Association and the organization behind the Makuʻu Farmers Market, to learn more about the plants growing in their agroforestry māla in Makuʻu, Puna
Each page was curated and intentionally designed to make Native Hawaiian plants a part of your daily life.
