Hey there, I'm Kennedy, and I'm thrilled to share the incredible journey of Sugarcane, a little shop that has been an integral part of my life. It all started back in 2011 when my amazing mom, Jill Hatch, with her keen eye for beautiful and unique things and a degree in interior design, decided to embark on a journey of creating Sugarcane.
Growing up alongside Sugarcane, my sister Isabelle and I practically considered it our sibling. From our afternoons learning how to ring up customers and keeping the shop spick and span, we gradually delevoped more of our mom's eye for merchandising and were able to learn how she kept the shop so cute. Sugarcane became more than just a business; it was a shared experience, a part of our upbringing and a connection that strengthened the bonds within our family and with our community.
Now, after nearly 13 incredible years of running the show, my mom has earned a well-deserved retirement, and I'm beyond proud to be the one continuing the Sugarcane legacy.
Sugarcane has been life-changing, shaping not only my life but our entire family's. The memories, the lessons, and friends we've made have created such a magical place for us in Kaimuki. As I step into this new chapter, I'm filled with excitement, wondering what the future holds for Sugarcane.
So here's to the next adventure, the evolution of Sugarcane, and the continuation of a story that's more than just a business – it's a part of who we are. Cheers to what's next!
