September Feature - Mika Tomita Art

Mika Tomita of Pono Art by Mika creates bright, whimsical artwork inspired by Hawaiʻi’s nature, animals, mana, and the excitement of life. After her health declined, art became an escape, an adventure, and a source of healing. Today, she creates with watercolor, watercolor pens, acrylic, and even coffee, with the hope that her work helps others feel that same excitement for life.

We’re honored to feature Mika as our September Artist of the Month and share her joyful work with our community. Her artwork will be available in store and online throughout the month, giving us all an opportunity to celebrate her creativity and the perspective she brings to our ʻohana.

This month, we’re also coming together to support Mika with her medical care. Customers can donate directly to her health fund, with 1 raffle ticket given for every $1 donated for a chance to win one of three special gift baskets filled with local goodies and artist made treasures (see link above to purchase). We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who chooses to show Mika a little extra aloha and help support one of our local artists. 💛
